  1. Page 147. Jesus is building a casket and Mack walks in. Jesus: "Hey there, Mack! I was just putting some finishing touches on my project for tomorrow....It's a big day for you, one of the reasons you are here." This passage is important because I believe it is foreshadowing an important future event that will change Mack's future.

  2. Page 153 -154. "As his stomach clenched he felt it again: the great sadness settling on his shoulders with it's full weight, almost suffocating him. He desperately wanted to back out into the light, but in the end he believed that Jesus would not have sent him in here without a good purpose. He pressed in farther." The significance of this passage is saying that Jesus is always with him and also it foreshadows bad things are going to happen because it says the great sadness settled over him.

  3. "I am the best way any human can relate to Papa or Sarayu. To see me is to see them. The love you sense from me is no different from how they love you. And believe me, Papa and Sarayu are just as real as I am, though, as you've seen, in far different ways." (page 112.) The importance of this passage is the Holy Trinity. Consisting of Jesus, God, And the Holy Spirit. THese three are all one person, but just in different forms, and it is important to note this to further understand God.

  4. On page 128, "sin is its own punsiment, devouring you from the inside; it's not my job to cure it." This is an important passage because when you sin it can hurt you maybe not physically but mentally and emotionally, but in order for it to go away we must heal it on are own it won't go away on its own.
