I would like to say that I am very much enjoying this book it allows you to think of God not just as a man in heaven, but as everyday people on earth. At first when God was pictured as a black woman it confused me and was hard to grasp, but know I am understanding the concept and am really enjoying the novel.
I think this book has a very interesting explination of what God looks like. It is nice that the book does not stereotype God. I also think it is a very fun book to read because it makes you think twice about all you have been taught about God and humanity as a whole.
Response to Ali's comment: I disagree with Ali, I thought this story was interesting and although it lost speed once Mack arrived at the shack it was still easy to read and grabbed my attention.
