What are your comments/opinions/observations on how the book is written?

  1. I feel the way he described the scene in the begining of the book foreshadows how the author will describe later events in the story.

  2. The way the book is written is different from other books because you can tell it wasn't written to be published, and just for the family like it says at the beginning of the book.

  3. I think that he wrote the book more as a reference for himself, so that he remembers his daughter, the letter, the shack, and everything else that has happend.

  4. I feel this book is written as more of a memory of the authors life, and shares the memories of his kidnapped daughter and the events that happened in his life.

  5. I believe that the author of this book was very inspired when he wrote this book. Some of the events that take place throughout the book may be describing events that have happened in his lifetime. He may have had an experience of his own with "Papa" and he is describing that experience in the novel.
