I think Special Agent showed so much interest when Officer Dalton said there were five spots on the lady bug pin because maybe that's how many people he has killed, and Missy is the fifth.
A world with no hierarchy would just be a scrambled up mess of people with no direction, eventually people would group together and then conflicts would esclate into fights and eventually into wars.
Responding to Ali: WM. Paul Young never meant for this to become a book, but I just think he didn't want people to forget what happened to this poor family and record the miraculous events that occured.
Answer to Ali: I think WM. Paul Young's purpose for writing this book was to tell a true story of what had happened to a family. By making the story a book it could be shared with a wide audience and many people could see the importance of this story as he did.
Response to Ali: I agree with Lucas and Caleb WM. Paul Young's intentions for the novel were to keep in mind a family who suffered a great deal of pain through the loss of their child, and how he coped with it through the power of faith.
Response to Lucas: When Mack meets Papa the experience did change his life forever, Papa taught many things that helped him get his life back on track.
What will happen to Mack in the shack? Will Mack see "Papa"?

ReplyDeleteIn the cave, rather than judging Mack, Papa's Wisdom asks Mack to judge God and mankind itself. Why would Papa's wisdom want Mack to be the judge?
ReplyDeleteIn the shack, Mack will see Papa and it will be an experience that will change his life forever.
ReplyDeleteAnswer to Lucas:
ReplyDeleteI think that Papa wisdom wanted Mack to be the judge because he wanted him to make his own decisions and not make them for him.
In the shack Mack did see Papa. Who eventually led his to Missy's body which changed his life in an extreme way.
